Community guidelines

The community is for people putting AI to work in their jobs, startups, and small businesses. The best posts read like a note from a colleague who tried something last week and wants to save you the trouble. These guidelines keep it that way.

Share what you’ve tried

Post about real work: the workflow you set up, the prompt that finally worked, the step you still keep in a person’s hands. Specifics help other members more than big claims. If you share numbers, say where they came from.

Be kind to people

It’s fine to disagree, as long as you keep it about the post and leave the person out of it. No harassment, threats, slurs, or attacks on anyone for who they are. Don’t pile on. If a thread turns sour, step away or report it.

Talk about tools fairly

Members use Grok Bot, Claude, ChatGPT, and plenty of other tools, often together. Say what worked and what didn’t on your work, and let others make their own call.

Say when you have a stake

If you build, sell, or get paid to promote something you mention, say so in the post. Occasional links to your own work are fine when they’re useful to the conversation. Repeated promotion, affiliate link drops, and posts that exist only to sell will be removed.

Keep private things private

Don’t post anyone’s personal details, customer data, or anything from work you aren’t allowed to share. That includes screenshots with names, emails, or account numbers in them.

Be yourself

One account per person. Don’t pretend to be someone else, a company, or our staff. If an AI tool helped you write a post, that’s fine, and you’re still responsible for what it says.

No spam or illegal content

No bulk posting, link farms, scams, malware, sexual content, or anything illegal.

Reporting and moderation

Use Report on any post or profile that breaks these guidelines. Our moderators review reports and can hide posts, pause an account for a while, or close it. New accounts have lower posting limits for their first day, and posts that several established members report may be hidden until a moderator looks at them.
